Centriq Group, the parent company of Voiteq and Cirrus Logistics, achieves another record year; with a 21 per cent increase in revenues, headcount up by 24 per cent, expansion into new geographies and markets, and continued innovation of its enhanced product portfolio.

Voiteq is a global leader in voice-directed work solutions and Cirrus Logistics supplies modelling, simulation and optimisation applications to the international supply chain and maritime industries. By focusing on customer needs and delivering tangible business benefits, the Group has seen strong growth from new and existing customers.

David Stanhope, CEO of Centriq Group remarked, “Over the last three years we have more than doubled our revenues, we’re delighted that 2015 was yet another year of strong growth. We passionately believe that our continued success stems from our principle of putting our customers at the centre of every decision we make. Our people deliver exceptional service and have the deepest knowledge in the sector, meaning our customers receive the best solutions and support available.”

Solidifying its position across Europe, Centriq Group acquired SMILOG GmbH, a highly experienced provider of voice and auto ID solutions based in Germany. The company specialises in the integration of these technologies into SAP and its SAP connectors are now available to Voiteq’s international customer base.

Voiteq France added a new office in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France and was certified as a Honeywell Vocollect Repair Centre, ensuring that Voiteq continues to offer its customers the highest quality service and support in every region.

Cirrus Logistics concluded record sales for both its CLASS modelling and simulation and its COST2SERV network strategy products. The company continued to gain market share across China, adding 250 new CLASS licences in this region, and its ongoing R&D investment culminated in the launch of CLASS version 14 in January this year.

The Cirrus Marine Enterprise Suite (MES) has continued to expand its customer base internationally and views APAC as an important growth area for 2016. The company has invested heavily in its MES portfolio, focusing in new mobile friendly interfaces as well as adding advanced reporting and analytics features.

Centriq Group views its people as a vital commodity to its innovation and growth, adding 24 per cent to its headcount in 2015. “Our people are the foundation of our business and we take their development very seriously, which is reflected in our numerous long-service awards and our impressive staff retention across the Group. As well as having an opportunity to directly share in the success of the business, our international reach has enabled our team to travel and work on some exciting, multinational projects,” Stanhope remarked.

2015 also saw Voiteq make significant R&D investments, resulting in the release of VoiceMan Warehouse Execution System v2.40 and spearheading the use of voice outside the traditional warehouse environment into new markets such as in-store and inspection. Its first inspection customer in North America is already benefiting from the productivity gains of a hands free, eyes free operation.

“At Centriq Group, we take a long-term view of the business and what we can offer the market,” remarked Anton du Preez, group sales director at Centriq Group. “Through organic growth, acquisition and global partnerships, we look for people and technologies that will add value to our customers and complement our own solutions. These attributes enable our continued success.”

Stanhope added “After another fantastic year, we’re delighted at what our teams have achieved. We’re proud to have added a large number of local and multinational companies to our growing customer base. We also held a number of user groups across both businesses. Our voice user group was the largest in history, with attendees from around the world, growing overall delegate numbers by 58 per cent.”

“We’re also being recognised for our commitment to our people, innovation and growth by the broader business sector – in the UK we were shortlisted as Employer of the Year at the Red Rose Business Awards, named as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Northern Tech Awards as well as listed in the top fastest growing companies in the Ward Hadaway Fastest 50. We’re also very proud to have won the Honeywell Vocollect Partner of the Year award for a fourth time,” concluded Stanhope.
