Registration for the road transport industry’s premier conference has opened today, with the Microlise Transport Conference set to take place on the 20th May, 2020 at The Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The largest event of its kind in Europe, and attracting more than 1,200 delegates in 2019, it has become the most dynamic event in the annual road transport calendar.

The free-to-attend conference will build on its future technology focus, offering insight into current industry issues and topics, as well as showcasing innovations which are set to disrupt the transport and logistics sector over the coming years.

The programme will feature an impressive speaker line-up, three focused workshops, and the ever-popular innovation zone. The conference will be supported by a sizeable exhibition area featuring prominent transport brands and industry organisations.

“We look to add value to our programme every year and are delighted to see our registrations continue to grow each year,” said Nadeem Raza, Chief Executive Officer, Microlise. “The event offers a level of networking and industry debate that we believe is hard to replicate elsewhere, with a line-up of speakers unmatched anywhere else.”

Past speakers have been drawn from some of the industry’s most influential corporations and organisations including Google, Amazon, the DVSA and the Traffic Commissioners for Great Britain, with almost all of the largest HGV manufacturers also represented.

Alongside the conference, the Microlise Driver of the Year Awards will again celebrate the UK’s most talented HGV drivers, through analysis of more than 200,000 drivers’ telematics data, and via industry nominated categories. These include HGV Hero, Lifetime Achievement, Extra Mile, Most Improved and Young Driver of the Year with all nominations opening in December.
