Indigo Expands Technical Teams With 4 New Members Added For Start Of 2019.

Indigo has expanded its supply chain consulting and product development capabilities with the appointment of four new team members to mark the start of 2019. The addition of these key technical and operational skills comes as a result of increased demand for the company’s warehouse management system, Indigo WMS, among manufacturers within the clothing, footwear, food and drinks sectors, who need to automate their warehouse processes and improve efficiency.

One of Indigo’s key differentiators as a software company is its team of supply chain consultants, all of whom have extensive ‘real world’ end user experience to enable them to bring greater value to the WMS implementation planning process. With 20 years industry experience, 9 of which were gained working in the apparel sector, Diane Wilson has joined as a Supply Chain Consultant. Diane was previously the Distribution Centre Assistant General Manager at Regatta Clothing.

“Retailers are facing a lot of challenges due to the rise of e-commerce and eroding margins, so they need to find logistics technology partners than can empathise and provide fast, effective solutions,” said Diane Wilson, Supply Chain Consultant at Indigo. “Indigo WMS is an ideal product for the clothing and footwear industry because it works at the garment level differentiating items by style, colour and size, which comparable WMS systems can’t do as standard. Combining these features with my industry experience will be a very attractive proposition for apparel companies when they consider working with Indigo.”

Jonathan Siberry joins Indigo as a Business Analyst to focus on creating a new Roadmap Development Strategy and also implementing a new enhancement request management and development process for existing Indigo WMS customers. He brings 12 years of experience working in logistics with major software vendors, plus an in-depth understanding of warehouse management software and how these systems are essential for driving business operations. Jonathan joins Indigo from a technology consultancy specialising in workforce management, supply chain, point of sale and in-store digital solutions and his expertise includes implementing WMS and TES (transport execution systems).

“I have worked for international software companies and admire the way Indigo invests in customers and builds long term relationships, which is very refreshing. Indigo WMS is already a very strong product for larger SMEs and I am looking forward to working with the technical team to further enhance its capabilities,” said Jonathan Siberry, Business Analyst at Indigo.

Grahame Ward and Cheryl Capstick have been appointed as Product Team Specialists, to support Indigo’s expanding customer base. Previously a Support Consultant, Grahame is now part of a team who support Indigo’s existing customers as they migrate to Indigo WMS. Cheryl Capstick is now responsible for enhancing product documentation and ensuring all customers have access to the highest quality supporting documentation, at every stage of the project lifecycle.

“These are exciting times for Indigo as we work on future versions of Indigo WMS with a host of new advanced functionality. We are delighted to welcome Diane and Jonathan as new comers to the Indigo team, and I’m very confident that Grahame and Cheryl will have an immediate positive impact on our product offering,” said Darren Baxter, Group CEO at Indigo.
