Isuzu‘s Grafter Green Creates A Lasting Impression At Ulyett Landscapes.

Following the success of its first 3.5 tonne Isuzu Grafter Green, which entered the 30-strong vehicle fleet at Ulyett Landscapes 12 months ago, the East Midlands company has taken delivery of a further four Isuzu Grafter Greens, which are now replacing older fleet vehicles.

With a proposed working life of over 10 years and a requirement to cover high annual mileages, the four new Isuzu Grafters are currently busy working on nationwide landscape and ground maintenance duties at Blidworth based Ulyett Landscapes, a family business established over 52 years ago.

“The first Isuzu Grafter we took last year was, in essence, a trial to see how it performed within our fleet. We were really impressed as it proved not only to be versatile in use, but it also gave us an excellent payload. In addition, we utilise the Isuzu for towing a trailer carrying either turf, soil or other equipment and once again the truck drives really well and effortlessly when towing,” said Mark Burton, Managing Director, Ulyett Landscapes.

All five of the Isuzu Grafter Green N35.125 4 x 2 rigids are fitted with dropside bodies and were supplied by local Isuzu Truck dealer t.i.m Commercials in Ilkeston.

“Over the years, Ulyett Landscapes has developed its business to become the largest landscaping and ground maintenance company in the East Midlands, and it is pleasing to see that the Isuzu Grafter is already making a strong and lasting impression within this growing company. The pedigree and heritage of Isuzu trucks within the landscape industry is second to none as the product range is ideally suited to this industry, in terms of providing excellent payload and long-term reliability,” said Lee Barwick, Fleet Sales Manager at Isuzu Truck UK.
