The IMO 2020 0.50% Sulphur Cap and the huge impact it will have on the marine fuel supply chain will be the focus of the fourth annual Middle East Bunkering Convention, taking place in Dubai between 21-24 January 2019, less than a year before the new regulation kicks in.
The Convention consists of a two-days Bunker Trading and Operations course, a technical site visit to the Port of Jebel Ali and a high-profile Conference. Delegates include shipowners and operators, bunker suppliers and traders, surveyors, agents and maritime lawyers from across the Middle East and worldwide.
Industry-leading speakers will use this important conference to highlight bunker quality and quantity issues, regulation and developments in supply, demand and infrastructure – always with the commercial deal in mind.
There will be plenty of networking opportunities during the Conference which will also enable all participants to obtain valuable expert advice on bunker claims, dispute resolution, regional sanctions and other pressing issues from the legal and technical speakers.
