As part of its pledge to deliver debate of the highest quality, London International Shipping Week 2017 (LISW17) is delighted to announce two world class speakers destined to crank up the thought leadership stakes at the flagship LISW17 conference to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, on Thursday 14th September
Joshua Rozenberg, Legal Commentator and Honorary QC, will question the legalities of the changing face of global shipping – in particular, the impact autonomous shipping will have on the current legal status quo. He will attempt to unravel the complexities associated with artificial intelligence and the law. It will then be up to Vladimir Kim, Transformation Director at Microsoft, in his keynote entitled How tomorrow may surprise us all, to illustrate how other industries and some pioneers within the extended shipping ecosystem are leveraging Digital Transformation to achieve industry leadership. Both Joshua and Vladimir are accomplished speakers and they will tackle their assignments with knowledge, passion and aplomb.
The flagship LISW17 conference will be moderated by Emily Maitlis, Broadcaster, Journalist and Presenter of BBC Newsnight. It will bring together thought leaders from the world of government, finance, international trade, shipowning and insurance as well as artificial intelligence innovation and technology. The LISW17 conference will be followed on the Thursday evening by the official LISW17 Gala Dinner, also to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
Taking place from September 11 to 15, LISW17 will be the must-attend event of the global maritime calendar with more than 140 industry functions and unique networking opportunities.
