One year on from entering the UK market, global supply chain consultancy Miebach is expanding its presence by opening an office in Oxford.

Experienced logistics specialist Peter Surtees initially brought the organisation to Britain in 2016 with an office in Maidstone, Kent.

The consultancy, established in Germany 1973, provides services across the end-to-end supply chain.

It operates 20 offices internationally and serves more than 1,000 customers, using this global network and multi-sector experience to provide innovative solutions to customer supply chain challenges.

Miebach’s current UK projects include work in sectors such as chemicals, food, cosmetics and fashion. Work has included designing and managing the construction of a distribution centre, optimising transport networks and atomizing warehouse processes.

This rapid uptake in the UK means the organisation can now double-up its presence.

Peter Surtees said: “Our excellent reputation for consistently delivering outstanding results for our customers in the UK has enabled us to develop a strong portfolio of blue chip clients. for whom we are working on a range of projects from network optimisation to the design of automated distribution centres.”
