New member Apex boosts London Capacity for Palletforce

Palletforce has secured further capacity and service in London after recruiting one of the capital’s longest-serving distribution companies to its UK-wide network. Acclaim Pallet Express (APEX) has joined the network in a move which allows Palletforce to continue to invest in its long-term future.

APEX was founded in 1990 as a parcel delivery firm, operating primarily from Heathrow Airport. By the turn of the century, however, the company was a member of a pallet network, servicing postcodes in west London.

Now managing director Ravi Sandhu has made the decision to join Palletforce, citing the expertise, infrastructure and ongoing investment commitment of the UK’s leading pallet network as the main reasons for the switch.

“APEX has covered the west London area for more than 25 years, but as a relatively small company it has become increasingly difficult to compete against some of the bigger operators,”

Ravi said.

“Palletforce not only provides the support we need to maintain our existing operation, but offers the opportunity for long-term growth in terms of sales and volumes. In all my years in the business, I have never seen back-up like it: the flair and skill of the Palletforce team is without doubt the best in the industry.”

Palletforce member relations director David Breeze said:

“APEX has a proven track record of successful operations in London and will help Palletforce secure important delivery capacity and enhance service in the capital.

“We are delighted to welcome Ravi and his team to the network and the strategy for both APEX and Palletforce is long-term growth.”
