New Year Sees Team Changes For Seven Telematics.

28 January, 19

Vehicle and temperature tracking leader Seven Telematics have marked the start of 2019 with some key changes to their team with the promotion of Martin Jane to Sales Director and the promotion of Steve Strong to Operations Director.

Martin Jane, Sales Director

Martin joined Seven Telematics as a Key Account Manager after establishing himself as a leading figure in the temperature-controlled distribution industry. His previous role in sales was with one of the UK’s leading builders of refrigerated trailers and rigid bodies. With the move of Michael Kane to pastures new, Martin was promoted to the role of Sales Director at Seven Telematics at the start of 2019.

“My main goal right now is to build on the excellent work of the company and to keep driving the business forward. Being new to the sector is helping me to look at things in a different way and take some fresh approaches to hopefully help us to grow. The one area that we’re really focusing on is customer service. We already offer a superb standard of customer service, but we want to build on that. It’s an ongoing focus. We do a lot of business in Europe and we want to carry on doing so. It’s where we see huge potential for growth. We’re looking at other markets as well.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know everyone in the business. Everybody’s very professional and we’re always looking out for each other. We’ve all got one goal and that is to provide great customer service”.

Steve Strong, Operations Director

Steve Strong brings more than 30 years’ experience in the temperature-controlled transport industry to his new position as Operations Director at Seven Telematics Ltd. Following key roles in the transport refrigeration industry with Carrier Transicold (UK) Ltd, and Carlisle Refrigeration, a Thermo King sales and service agent, he moved into a sales position at Seven Telematics over 12 years ago. Due to expansion and changing requirements within Seven Telematics, Steve was identified as the person to oversee the after sales side of the business and was appointed Operations Manager in April 2017 and in late 2018, recognising his contribution, he was promoted to the role of Operations Director.

“The whole area of telematics is very much an evolving market. It has changed almost beyond recognition within the last five years. With the team we now have in place, I believe that Seven Telematics are perfectly positioned to continue the growth we have experienced recently. Our key strength lies in the fact that the team here fully understands the transport industry, particularly the temperature-controlled aspect of the market. This, alongside our focus upon continuing to provide the service that our customers require, and endeavouring to exceed their expectations from both a sales and an after sales perspective ensures that we will remain at the forefront of the vehicle and temperature monitoring industry for many years to come”.
