Palletforce raises the stakes with executive additions to secure future growth

EV Cargo company Palletforce has signalled its confidence in the network’s future with key additions to its executive team.

Adam Leonard, formerly chief executive of The Pallet Network (TPN), will join the company as member relations director in January 2020, taking over from David Breeze who moves to the newly created position of commercial and international director.

The appointments underline Palletforce’s commitment to investing in the best people, while reinforcing its powerful growth strategy, strengthening its market-leading position, and sending a message to members that they continue to be part of the best UK network.

With over 35 years in logistics, including key executive roles in the pallet sector, Adam Leonard brings a powerful combination of experience and skills to Palletforce. His primary focus will be to expand and further unify the network by working directly with members to promote growth and inter-member collaboration – adding further value to key network components and combining a strong customer and quality focus.

“The member network is the heart of the business and I intend to play my part in ensuring that Palletforce has the strongest member team in this thriving sector,” explained Adam.

“There are significant areas of the supply chain with further growth potential for pallet networks, so I look forward to adding width to our members’ customer base and capturing more business from their existing portfolios. As a key player within EV Cargo, we intend to utilise the powerful extra leverage to forge ahead with our strategy of strong growth and quality service.”

In his new role as commercial and international director, David Breeze will complement and work closely with Adam in fine tuning and strengthening commercial relationships with members. His 25 years of high-level domestic and international network experience will provide a unique opportunity to seek out long-term, global revenue opportunities and manage the interface with Palletforce members.

“My focus will be on further strengthening our commercial relationships with members to ensure they benefit from the award-winning growth and business-enabling opportunities that Palletforce offers,” said David.

“Palletforce has a strategy to advance its range and reach of international services to create new and exciting opportunities for our members to grow. I have a successful background in developing international networks, so I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity.”

The director changes are part of Palletforce’s ongoing investment to further build the network, bringing in more expertise to support members and deliver long-term security.

Michael Conroy, Palletforce chief executive, said: “This is a big statement of intent from Palletforce as we create further growth and stability for our members and consolidate our position as market-leaders. We have great confidence in both our membership and the pallet network sector. By strengthening our executive team, Palletforce is best placed to help members differentiate themselves in tough market conditions to take advantage of domestic and international growth opportunities and sell new profitable services.

“Adam has huge pallet network expertise and will be a valuable asset for our members while David has unrivalled experience in developing international networks – both will give Palletforce and its members a significant competitive edge in the marketplace.”
