Siemens Digital Logistics is coming to the transport logistic trade show in Munich (June 4-7, 2019) to present an integrated portfolio of software and consulting solutions for the precise planning and control of global supply chains. The company’s “Control Tower” solutions use a digital twin to simulate logistical processes and integrate real-time data for more efficient, collaborative control of supply chain networks.

“We want to elevate the transparency and reliability of supply chains to a whole new level of technology,” proclaims Uwe Schumacher, Vice President Business Development at Siemens Digital Logistics. The digital technology specialist – a new Siemens subsidiary established in 2018 through the merger of AXIT, LOCOM Consulting, and LOCOM Software – is coming to transport logistic to give business professionals a first look at its new integrated portfolio for the manufacturing, commercial, and logistics sectors.

The “Control Tower” software solutions can be customized to meet the unique needs of various industries and are entirely scalable, from an entry-level version to a complete end-to-end solution. “Our solutions meet all strategic, tactical, and operational requirements for the modern supply chain,” assures Schumacher.

Visitors to the Siemens Digital Logistics booth (Hall A3, Booth 223/324) can familiarize themselves with the company’s established solutions, including the cloud-based AX4 logistics platform and the Supply Chain Suite (SCS) for the data-driven analysis, simulation, and optimization of logistical challenges. The company is also presenting its extensive consulting services along with solution concepts for the smart supply chain of the future.
