Summer Of Success For Europa Showfreight.

17 June, 19

June is proving to be an exciting month for Europa Showfreight, which served as the official logistics contractor for a number of industry-leading exhibitions.

The dedicated and ambitious division of independent logistics provider, Europa Worldwide Group, utilised its expertise to deliver logistics for this year’s Facial Conference and Aesthetic Exhibition (FACE), and AeroExpo, both of which have garnered reputations for being the leading shows in their respective sectors.

Having served as the official contractor for FACE for the last five years, Europa Showfreight experienced continued success for the show, which took place at the QEII Centre in Westminster on 7-8 June. FACE is the longest-running scientific conference of its kind and the only UK event that gathers together over 130 renowned speakers from across the aesthetics sector, covering a broad spectrum of industry-related topics.

With a portfolio of up to 10 exhibitions within the biomedical industry, Europa’s Showfreight division is well-versed in providing a trusted logistics service, including: planning for requirements, shipping to and from site, handling materials onto the exhibition stand space, a full documentation service, tour management and specialist charter, customs clearance and full on site MHE services, and off site storage.

Europa Showfreight also provided logistics for AeroExpo at Wycombe Air Park, Buckinghamshire, on 13-15 June. Showcasing both general and private aviation, the exhibition is considered the UK’s leading general aviation event, with its sister show, HeliExpo, which serves as the only fly-in helicopter event in the country.

The aviation sector is another area in which Europa’s Showfreight division is leading the way, with experience working on The Paris Air Show – the largest aerospace industry exhibition type Air Show in the world.

Jack Baxter, Showfreight Business Development Manager at Europa, expects the division to provide the same high standard of service delivered in previous years across both shows. He comments: “Given our well respected stance in both the biomedical and aviation sectors, we were pleased to see that Europa Showfreight delivered exhibitors’ goods efficiently and effectively, enabling us to continue to set ourselves apart as an independent, fast-growing leader in logistics.”

Europa will also be attending the IELA (International Exhibition Logistics Association) Congress and Partnering Event from 23-28 June, marking another exciting opportunity for the Showfreight team to add to their logistics expertise across a wide range of sectors.

As well as its specialist Showfreight division, Europa Worldwide Group provides services for Road, Air & Sea and Warehouse operations. The company employs more than 900 people across 16 sites in the UK, plus Hong Kong and Belgium, and is represented in 100 countries.
