TechnoCargo Logistik, the specialist for warehouse and transport logistics in the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning sector, celebrated its 25th anniversary in Neuss at the beginning of July. The roughly 280 guests invited to the celebrations included customers, partners, employees and representatives from the worlds of politics and business, among them Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke, the Chief Executive of the Rhine District of Neuss, and Reiner Breuer, Mayor of Neuss.
Ever since it was founded in Hilden in 1994, TechnoCargo Logistik has been able to expand its position in the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning sector. “We handle high-quality and sensitive products in this business. Although there’s a strong competitive environment, we’ve managed to consistently grow in the long term. We’re continuing to develop our services all the time so that we can meet our customers’ requirements in future too,” says Dr Frank Fuchs, Managing Director of TechnoCargo Logistik.
The service provider currently operates warehouse space measuring 80,000 square metres in total. TechnoCargo Logistik pools the consignments from many of its sector manufacturers for wholesalers there. TechnoCargo Logistik supplies the goods, which include modern heating equipment, bathroom furnishings, radiators, plumbing and air-conditioning systems, to wholesalers in countries like Germany, France, the Benelux region, Austria and Great Britain.
TechnoCargo Logistik not only offers warehouse logistics and organises consignments around the globe using every means of transport, but also provides spare parts logistics services, operates a consignment warehouse and packs and picks the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning products. The logistics specialist set up a subsidiary in Slovakia in 2005 and a British national company just one year later. TechnoCargo Logistik moved its headquarters to Neuss in 2010. The company now employs about 320 people at five business sites.
