Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean (WW Ocean) has joined IFLN Global Projects, the expanding freight forwarder network that brings together project logistics specialists from around the world.

WW Ocean forms part of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group, a market leader in roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) shipping and vehicle logistics that transports cars, trucks, rolling equipment and breakbulk cargo around the globe. WW Ocean has a fleet of more than 50 modern RoRo vessels, offering a global liner service on 12 trade routes to six continents.

Last year, WW Ocean moved three million car equivalent units (CEU) of cars, rolling equipment and breakbulk around the world. It operates more than 500 sailings, making approximately 4,000 calls, a year.

Members of the IFLN Global Projects network are carefully vetted to ensure they offer depth and breadth of experience in all aspects of global project logistics management, including complex, capital and asset-intensive projects in some of the world’s most remote and challenging locations.

IFLN Global Projects is affiliated with the IFLN Network, which was established in 2000 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA. It incorporates approximately 300 logistics companies from more than 100 countries around the world.

Michel Vanlerberghe, president of IFLN, observes:

“WW Ocean is a great addition to not only our Global Projects network, but also to IFLN Network members who have need for RoRo and breakbulk ocean services.”

And Kibo Bodogaard, VP breakbulk & marketing at WW Ocean, adds:

“Joining the IFLN Global Projects group allows WW Ocean to network and develop best practices with top leaders and experts in the project logistics industry.

“We look forward to developing new partnerships through IFLN by continuing to develop and grow our best-in-class cargo handling and transportation services.”
