Announcing a partnership to smooth the economic dent for members during the pandemic.

FLEETMAXX Solutions announces a Strategic Partnership Programme with the National Body Repair Association (NBRA) to offer their independent members access to discount diesel and petrol throughout the UK with our fuel card products.

The NBRA champion body repair shops through industry leadership, advice, and value-added services lobbying the government for the betterment of the industry.

Michael Wick, NBRA’s National Business Development Manager, explains, why the partnership with FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS is so important. “We have over 700 car body repair members and 80 truck coach builders in our network all over the nation. They are open during this lockdown.

“Our members are the people everyone relies upon to repair the damage to their vehicles, to keep business moving and fleets on the road. Yet the damage due to the coronavirus pandemic and its safety measures is devastating our industry.

“Work levels are 50% down than in normal times. Our members are having to take on this impact, they cannot absorb it like large corporate enterprises. Our members are many small, independent outlets who are having to furlough staff or even worse let them go. These are highly skilled workers they can’t retain, who have taken years to learn their craft.”

So, for the members, being part of the NBRA network during these challenging times is important, which is why we are proud to be part of that support for its members.

We are FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS offering fuel cards to help reduce running costs with discounted diesel and petrol. Tim Betts is the dedicated account manager for NBRA members. He has been keeping an eye on the fuel price as it has been rollercoasting since the first lockdown. He says: “Against the figures given by the government on national average weekly road fuel prices our fuel cards are currently saving up to 10p per litre at the pumps.”

Michael says, “Running a business and running a body repair shop can be an incredibly lonely place. Our members have legal and regulatory decisions to make about the business and the people, and supplier relationships. With our partnership with FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS we are assisting body repair shop members by saving on expenses and other benefits too.”

FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS is a family-owned business supplying fuel cards, bulk fuels, AdBlue and Lubricants. Last year, we helped more than 50,000 customers save on fuel, from entrepreneurs to couriers and many more organisations that rely on vehicles to get the job done.

NO ACCOUNT SET-UP FEE FOR NBRA MEMBERS
NBRA members can pick any of our comprehensive range of commercial rate fuel cards, and there are no transaction charges, network fees or other surcharges. The fuel cards are issued free of charge, a saving of £12 per card. One weekly invoice means up to two weeks of free credit before direct debit payment. Nothing extra is added to the bill every time you refuel.

The range includes fuel cards that are valid at BP, Esso, Shell, and Texaco sites and supermarkets (Fuelgenie), independent retailers and specialist diesel networks, such as Keyfuels and UKfuels. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Oilfast Ltd, a substantial bulk fuel, lubricant and licensed Adblue® manufacturer and distributor. So, if the outlet has a fuelling station for its recovery trucks and courtesy vehicles, we will happily tell you how we can help, and there are preferential rates for NBRA members. AdBlue is available for delivery in quantities of 1,000-litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC); Pallet of 4 x 205-litre barrels; Pallet of 50, 10-litre containers; Pallet of 32, 20L containers. These solutions are, on average,50% cheaper than the pump price or the price of the container on the forecourt. A £500 saving on average over the forecourt price per 1,000 litres.

REDUCE VEHICLE RUNNING COSTS FURTHER
When it comes to service, many body repair shops offer customers a courtesy car to use while the work is being done. However, there is a risk. FLEETLOC8 is our cost-effective GPS tracking solution that we can tailor to function to track your courtesy car’s moves. Our technology gives full visibility with accurate live and historical data of every journey made.

Using our tracking and forward-facing fleet cam FLEETVISION it will provide professional insights into how drivers conduct themselves on the road. The camera also provides clear proof in the event of accident claims, protection against mendacious claims and ‘crash-for-cash’ scams and evidence of dangerous driving. Its wide-angle lens can record in both dark and light conditions all angle of the road.

For NBRA members, a camera and tracking combo are less than £15 to run a month, and that includes free installation.
While we have everything covered recording every move that has made, we can cover every accident with our commercial insurance solutions. Our dedicated team of experts can provide a no-obligation quote that is right for your business covering insurance or liability insurance, our experts will find a cover for every eventuality, and some you might not have considered.
